ERMANNO PLOZZER \u2013 1966 \u2013 Sauris (UD)<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a sunny and vital person, Ermanno Plozzer has a natural talent for sculpture. In early 90s, he discovered his passion for Carnival masks. So his creativity \u201cexploded\u201d, also following Feliciano Costa\u2019s suggestions.<\/p>\n

He is often invited in conventions and competitions about wooden and ice-sculpture both in Italy and abroad, where he has obtained several awards. At the present time, he is the one and only true continuer of the traditional Carnival mask carving in Sauris.<\/p>\n

He is a co-founder of the \u201cMascherai Alpini\u201d Association.<\/p>\n

He mainly uses Swiss Pine wood for his masks.<\/p>\n
