Giovanni Battista Bressan

GIOVANNI BATTISTA BRESSAN – 1952 – Rivamonte Agordino (BL)

A self-taught carver, Tita Bressan discovers the century-old tradition of the “Olt da Riva” (traditional wooden masks of the Agordo Valley) in the 90s and since then he began carving his “Olt” with increasing skill and success, soon making them known even outside of the Agordo Valley.
He became part of the “Mascherai Alpini” in 2013.

The type of wood he generally uses for his masks is the Stone Pine.
