Antonio Trinco

ANTONIO TRINCO – 1973 – Rodda (UD)

Antonio Trinco became very keen on traditional wooden masks of the “Valli del Natisone”, when he attended the laboratory of his aunt, Silvana Buttera.

As a self-taught person, he started carving masks with great passion and willingness, following his aunt’s advice and improving his technique after participating in events organised by our association.

Being highly imaginative and talented, he loves experiencing new expressions and using accessories such as horns and furs of animals as well as brilliant colours and defined backgrounds.

Antonio Trinco joined the “Mascherai Alpini” Association in 2008.

He mainly uses Linden Tree and Chestnut wood for his masks, whilst experiencing other essences.
