VID PREZELJ 1973 – CERKNO (SLO)
As a self-taught and passionate wood carver, Vid begun only a few years ago to produce the typical masks of the Cerkno carnival: in fact he carves and restores them since 2012 for the local “Laufarje”, the association that has been working for 60 years to keep the ancient carnival tradition alive.
He prefers linden wood for his masks .
Vid became member of the Association “Mascherai Alpini” in 2014.
